Who we are, what we do, and who's responsible for what.
What does BPA mean?
BPA means Building Permit Approvable. It describes a cottage pathway designed to provide the drawings, engineering and supporting documentation ordinarily required for a building permit application. It does not mean that a planning permit, building permit or occupancy permit has already been issued for a customer's property.
A cottage cannot be approved in isolation from its site. The final approval depends on the land, proposed use, zoning, overlays, setbacks, foundations, wastewater, bushfire requirements, energy assessment and other site-specific conditions.

Homes & Domes is the cottage supplier and project coordinator. Planning consultants, building surveyors, engineers, registered builders and other specialists perform their respective professional functions where required.
We help coordinate the pathway and maintain visibility over the stages included in your agreement. Some professionals and contractors may be appointed directly by the property owner, and council and building surveyor decisions remain independent.
